The CfBT/University of Bath survey on UWCiM |
In early 2008 CfBT Education Trust, a leading charity whose head office is in the UK and which provides education services for public benefit internationally, agreed to fund a proposal from the University of Bath to undertake research based in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The research project has focused on the United World College in Mostar (UWCiM). The CfBT/University of Bath project set out to investigate whether the aims of the UWCiM were being met in respect of the extent to which studying and living together appeared to have led to greater integration between different groups of UWCiM students (from different BiH communities and other parts of the world), as well as to integration between the UWCiM and Gymnasium student bodies
The project began in early 2008, ended in October 2009, and the report arising from the project’s findings will be formally launched on seminars in Sarajevo (on Monday 8 February at 3 pm in Hall 8 of the UNITIC Centre: Fra Anđela Zvizdovića 1) and in Mostar (on Tuesday 8 February at 5 pm in conference room in Hotel’s “Ero”; Ul.Ante Starčevića bb)
