Graduation Ceremony UWCiM Class 2010 |
 On Wednesday 26th of May students from the class 2010 officially finished their education in the United World College in Mostar. The graduation day started with a common photo of students wearing ceremonial blue-green gowns in front of the College. Later on they proceeded in a traditional city walk towards Herceg Stjepan Kosaca centre where the ceremony of rewarding certificates took place. The UWCiM graduation ceremony traditionally hosted many distinguished guests from the public life and we were very happy to host Ms. Felicidad Cristobal from ArcelorMittal Foundation as a key-note speaker for the occasion. In her address to UWCiM graduates she said “Do not be afraid, do not allow fear to find a place to stay in your minds. Fear is always dangerous! Be aware of your thoughts and do not allow fear to master them, neither your life!Fear mostly comes when we just care for our personnel success, but if what we care for is to make of this small planet a better place to live, to use the time we have here to help other people, we will change the world for the better.” ArcelorMittal Foundation was UWCiM biggest donor of in the period 2008-2010. They covered full scholarships for 60 students coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina and a nearby region. The UWCiM Class 2010 had 100 students coming from 29 counties all around a world.
